When you create an account, we collect your name and email address via our authentication provider (Clerk). When you use the API, we log the URLs you extract, usage counts, and performance metrics. We do not store the extracted content itself beyond the duration of the request.
We use your information to provide and improve the Contrie service, track API usage against your plan limits, and communicate important service updates. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
API keys are hashed with SHA-256 before storage. We use TLS encryption for all data in transit. Your account is protected by Clerk's authentication infrastructure. We retain usage logs for billing and debugging purposes.
We use the following third-party services: Clerk (authentication), Neon (database), Vercel (hosting), OpenRouter (AI model access), and Stripe (payments). Each service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
Extraction history is retained for 90 days on the Free plan and up to 1 year on paid plans. After the retention period, extraction logs are automatically deleted.
